Great hitter and had a cannon for an arm in RF

He got injured and played with a broken jaw, and had to wear a goalie mask for a while when hitting

79 pirates.ws champs..nickname the cobra..pure muscle..hit some bombs…was  a great player .He would always throw the guy out trying to go to from 1st to 3rd on a single to right field.Saw him throw a ball from the right field wall on a line without a bounce to the catcher to get the runner

he's 1 of those ballplayers that if you saw him for the 1st time, you'd want to find out more about him.

his presence alone whether at the plate  or in right was scary if you were a fan of the opposition

Oh I agree Kingman was tall and thn but what a swing he had lol  I lived in So Cal back in the day and you want to talk abut thick  remember Don Baylor loved watching him play for the Angels

BEING A Mets fan in mid 70's around 10 or 11 , I was a Huge Kingman fan.
