You’re a fucking box of rocks if you think first five betting is about instant gratification.
It has nothing to do with getting the bet settled quicker. It is about isolating the exact part of the game where your edge exists.
If I have a massive starting pitching advantage and no bullpen advantage, why the fuck would I voluntarily add four more innings of variance just so somebody can call me patient?
A full game favorite at minus 160 needs to win about 61.5 percent just to break even. A first five minus a half at minus 120 needs about 54.5 percent.
Different bets, same job. Find the edge, compare it to the price, and bet the part of the game where that edge is strongest.

Hey guys. I have a question that you probably know the answer to. Does anyone know if you can make selections on streak survivor that are more than a week apart provided that you make the selection before the 7 day deadline? For example, I want to make a pick for NFL week 1. I actually have a pick that is more than 7 days apart in my streak, but that is due to the fact that the previous pick wasn't graded for over 48 hours. I looked at list of all stars streaks from 2026 and I saw one person who had a pick more than 7 days in their streak. So, I'm pretty sure you can. My deadline is tomorrow at 10 pm. Any comments would be appreciated.
