Right now I’m just trying to put together a short card. Once I have that, I can start picking it apart, looking for the flaws, and avoiding the landmines. I do like the Dodgers, though

 Just 3 hour travel difference by plane and 1 hour time difference from STL yesterday to DC today. This is very manageable for a sports team equipped with all the bells and whistles from their team owners. I dont see how this can affect the game.

@Way2Good Agreed. More important is how poorly the Nationals play at home vs the road and that the Diamondbacks are the hottest team in baseball along with the Red Sox. AZ bats are scorching and so is DC. Personally I see the diamondbacks scoring runs again today 

I like this. Did they really stop in St. Louis on an off day to make up a game?

Shitty routine, add to this that they went into extra innings on Sunday the 19th, and Tuesday the 21st.

Granted, they've won 5 of their last 7, a stretch where their last off day was the all star break.

Yeah, rock band touring is exhausting, but there is a difference between Bon Jovi doing seven cities in seven days and a baseball team playing every day, going extra innings twice, changing cities, and trying to hit 97 mph pitching with no real recovery day.

Hey, all he pointed out was 3rd city in 3 days. That's extremely rare in baseball. And if I had to guess, I'd bet it might of not ever happened. 

Maybe it affects them, maybe it doesn't. Personally, I wouldn't like to find out the hard way.

I like the Giants and the Dodgers bats are back alive - someone I know likes the Over but I don’t like overs -9- w the Mets in that ballpark

Eduardo Rodriguez not as good otr, or on 4 days rest. Still waiting for lineups to see what catcher he gets. His era is 2.62, but fip 4.09. Maybe not as good as perceived...

Palmquist is opening for the Nats, Littel is the primary. I need to look at those dudes next.

It's just me, but thinking that using an opener, then Littel, then some bullpen is the right place to be for the Nats. Vs a team with no rest traveling a bunch recently.
