Couple thoughts

Two first five spots I’m circling before lineups

Dodgers F5 -0.5Z

Jeffrey Springs has not been right lately. He’s 0-3 with an 8.18 ERA over his last seven starts, and his last three outings were 3 ER, 6 ER, and 6 ER. Dodgers get the clear starter edge with Justin Wrobleski 

Tampa F5 is also live. The road record is the only concern, but this is more about stealing the first five behind Griffin Jax against Noah Cameron. Jax has allowed only 2 ER over his last four starts, while Cameron just saw Tampa and gave up 5 ER, 8 hits, and 3 walks in five innings

I only gave the card a quick look so far, pre lineups 

June 24 vs KC: 5 IP, 0 ER, 7 K
June 19 vs Washington: 5 IP, 2 ER, 5 K
June 13 at Angels: 5 IP, 0 ER, 5 K

Griffin Jax has been good

Last time against KC, he did get through five, but he allowed traffic and had to work through jams.

This kid is not gonna go seven, I’m thinking that he can get us through five.

Kansas City has some sticks in the lineup, no doubt, but we’re not trying to marry this game for nine innings. We’re getting in and out like a thief in the night.

This is about Griffin Jax giving us the cleaner early arm, and Noah Cameron being a guy Tampa already saw six days ago and moved around pretty good. The Rays tagged him for 8 hits, 5 earned runs, and 3 walks over five innings…

 I 100% agree, I might be involved myself, depending on how my first game goes.

What are you thinking? 8 right handed bats stacked up against Wrobleski. Meanwhile the Dodgers are platooning 5 lefty's vs LHP Springs, there has to be a reason, right?

In the month of June, Wrobleski 2.28 era, but 4.16 fip

Wrobleski is VERY good against right handed bats, shouldn't phase him.

Allowing .208/.537, 37 k's, 13 walks, 3 hr's in 259 pa's

In the month of June, Springs 9.97 era with a poultry 8.41 fip.

He's been pitching better than meets the eye

But I don't get why the Dodgers are using 5 left handed bats against him. He's much better vs them than righties.

Allowing .228/.744, 21 k's, 5 walks, 6 hr's in 108 pa's.

Not the greatest #'s, he is of the gas can variety for sure. It's just that righties crush him X2 worse.

A's have been posting a bad lineup for about a while now (although Kurtz is back which is big).  But yeah, they're having lots of trouble scoring.  They looked pitiful against the angels last weekend.
