Couple thoughts

 Sean Sullivan is a true fly ball pitcher with it being 100 degrees in Colorado. 

Although, of his 67.4% fly balls, 17.2% have been infield flys.

Still a gnarly 50.2% true fly ball rate. 

I looked at this game all day and I get it. Coors Field, first game of the series, altitude, weird things happen in Denver. All of that is fair.

But the bet is simple. We’re not trying to survive nine innings at Coors. We’re looking for a quick in and out through the first five with the better arm on the mound.

Sandy already controlled this lineup once, Miami has enough sticks in there, and this is not a friendly setup for this lefty with command issues. Patient bats, traffic, and let Sandy do his job.

I honestly had no idea DoorDash delivered beer 

Normally, if I run out, I’ll pour a couple whiskeys on the rocks and call it a night. But sometimes I just don’t have the palate for whiskey, I just need a beer.

And I don’t drink and drive, ever. So now you just order it, and 20 minutes later it shows up at your door.

New world we live in, and honestly, it’s pretty amazing.

Sullivan got through the first, but he wasn’t exactly dealing.

Six strikes, five balls, sitting 87 with the fastball and throwing it 82% of the time. Barely showed the changeup or slider. He’s trying to survive out there.

We didn’t get him in the top of the first, but if that’s what’s up, we’re going to get our chances.

Hernandez hit a double, Stowers scored, and then Jimenez hit a two run double. That brought in Hernandez and Stowers

We got a couple runs. Now we need Sandy to do what he does, and hopefully Sullivan can grind through maybe two more. The pitch count is high, but it still could be enough cushion to get us home.
