Way too early look at today’s MLB card, but there are a few spots that caught my eye.
Fading the Mets feels live with the way they’re playing right now total shambles/disarray. The Fish also look interesting in Colorado with Sandy on the mound and the bats heating up at Coors Not a final card by any means, just an early scan..but Miami is definitely on the radar.
Also, White Sox/Orioles over 9 doesn’t look bad from a first glance. More info to come once lineups and market movement settle in.

The real angle is Sandy’s current form, Miami’s bats heating up, Coors, and Colorado likely turning to a the lefty who has already shown real command issues. That’s what makes the Fish interesting to me today. I posted the trend to get feedback, and yours is always amazing ![]()

@KingScorpio
I’ll chime-in on the Baltimore game. I watched Shane Baz closely in his last start. He missed up in the strike zone with his fast ball and it got hit. Also, he throws a knuckle curve and fools nobody! My personal opinion is he is an average pitcher. Average pitchers never fool hitters and therefore they allow too many hard hit balls and base runners. I believe on his best night, he still allows 4/5 runs in his 90/100 pitches. I don’t want my money down on him. Game to go OVER or either teams TT OVER.

I watched Sandy pitch his last start and I never felt comfortable, at any time. Go back and look at the first 3 innings vs. Rangers. Sandy was in trouble all (3) innings. If not for a ground ball DP in the 1st, by Nimmo, he would have given-up runs in 2 of the first 3 innings vs. Rangers. To me, he looked very average! GL if you need him tonight!

Rockies ML at +120 looks good to me
. they won 3 of their last 4 home opener series, and 3 of them from National League. not that it means something or to correlate but I feel good about them sealing a win at home tonight.

Sean Sullivan
Only 12 MLB innings
At MLB level he has
5.25 K/9
5.25 BB/9
2.25 HR/9
18.6% ground-ball rate
88.1 mph average fastball
8.25 ERA
7.18 FIP
7.53 xFIP
That is not a good Coors profile. Low strikeouts, too many walks, home-run damage, and he is not getting the ball on the ground. The ground-ball number is the one that really jumps out
At Triple-A this year, he had a 5.60 ERA, 1.55 WHIP, 8.23 K/9, 3.13 BB/9, 1.65 HR/9. So it is not like he was carving up the minors
poor MLB walk rate
poor strikeout rate
fly-ball danger
weak fastball velocity

Still waiting on the Miami lineup, but the thought process…simple. Just get in and out with Sandy on the mound, Im just looking for Miami to scratch across a couple early and get in and out through the first five…looks good on paper
