Unfortunately none of the plays hit, but hey can’t win them all!!!
On my way home last night my car overheated in the hood and had to tow my car home. I’m hoping it’s just a simple hose and not a head gasket, but had to Uber to work this morning and wasn’t going to request to drive to Kansas to place MLB bets along the way! Lol
To be honest this is fine, I paid $185 to get my car home… it could be worse. I’m free.. and more importantly, I’m sober. I recently got out of prison in March after nearly doing 7 years. It sucked! If I hadn’t got locked up I would have ended up dead and lucky It worked out this way. I had a very healthy heroin/xanax addiction that took over my life and stemmed from ACL/meniscus surgeries and pain pill addiction. I still get calls from guys that are still locked up and any losing or horrible day out here is much better than a “good” day in the penitentiary. I got my business associates degree while incarcerated, got in the best shape of my life, and got sober. I’m continuing my education taking computer science classes online, going to gym every morning m-f, and working a job. Yeah, things are great. Hope everyone has a great day and keep your head up, it could always be worse!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate it all the kind words. I made the change for myself, but also my son and family. I luckily have a great supportive family who never left my side through the whole thing.
I experienced a lot while incarcerated. I actually ran a sports gambling ticket for a couple of years when I first went down until I was transferred to a different facility. The OG ticketman kept going to the hole constantly, so I was like I’m going to give it a shot. It is a lot of work, stressful, but highly profitable. In Missouri prison you have to pick 4 plays minimum, all have to hit to win and pushes are a loss. 4 plays pays 10x your bet, 5 plays 15x, and 6 plays 25x. If that’s not bad enough, let’s say chiefs were favored by 3 points versus the bills my ticket would be -3 for either side. The actual line would have to be -6 or more to have + money on the other side, and over/under would be a spread 42-49, so if you bet the under it’d be under 42 and over would be 49 anything in between is dead. lol I worked my ass off, I’d do every sport and get the lines off ESPN at 11am hand write a ticket for the day and take it to the library to get 50 copies and cut out 8 tickets per sheet of paper. Baseball was run line only if the Royals were -150 on ML on espn the ticket was -1- both ways and o/u was a spread usually 6-9 lol. It’s ridiculous! I didn’t come up with this format it is how it is. People bet food, hygiene, and cash app!
I was locked up with Andy Reid’s son for a few months, we were workout buddies and played cornhole a bunch. We have similar histories with addiction and made the best of the circumstances. So many people gave me shit about not fitting the typical inmate mold, but I am a completely different person sober. It is crazy what opiates can make a person do and so grateful I’m free from that hell.

If it's good then there's nothing to talk about but when you are on the losing end, you'll do whatever to get that money to feed your gambling addiction.

Honestly, I wouldn't be gambling
It's a bad way to invest
