-129 and under huh? Gonna be a fun one with MLB

Dodgers vs padres

What I do know is that I faded them padres last year and it was profitable. What I also like is a team that won the 1st game of the series as they will continue to win the 2nd and if not, will or may sweep the series.

Dodgers is 1-0 by beating them padres with a shut of of 15-0 embarrassment yesterday. I do not think that the dodgers will go on a rape run again today but knowing that the dodgers are able to put up 15 runs to 0, it shows me that they have a very deep bull pen and is the better team.

Kershaw is a lefty and today, dodgers is putting up another lefty again. Perhaps padres having a hard time hitting lefties?

Does home field advantage play a role here? Probably not since LA to daygo is only a few hours drive.

Dodgers owned this series by a large margin. They are 15-5 against them padres since last year.

We shall see if them dodgers are for real or for fake. They are going against shields who has a stellar record and is only 1-0 against them dodgers so his record is mute to me.

No need to post up line for mlb for I am sure that them dodgers are less than -129.

Don't have time for a long write up, but conley is out for the season, pj hairston is sitting today, Rose is back, bulls need the win, grizz season is over, even if they make the playoffs, they don't have the bullets to win. grizz 2-8 last 10, wins over pheonix and a parity win over the clippers. No Taj, the bulls will be looking to score early, blow out and rest for the stretch that they need to win for a playoff spot.

Am I the only one who sees a ton of value in the Avalanche tonight +175?

I am not into juice but is there anyway Bruins lose tonight in NHL -200?

Volquez was sharp against the Mets on Sunday throwing 6 scoreless innings. Young who had a good year last year has not been so sharp against the Mets where he holds a 6.0 ERA. Gents, first time poster long time reader. Love the thread and big ups to bubba for keeping it rolling.
I'm interested to see if anyone sees any value in the woman's nccaa championship tonight. I don't think there is a chance in hell that Syracuse can win the game however I do see some value at +26 was +25 this morning. I see that Syracuse has been lighting it up from beyond the arc and u conn freshman point guard is out. All that being said u conn has been killing everyone by like 30 ??.

i read a previous post about a team taking game 1 of a series vs a bad team usually leads to a sweep or to continued domination especially after a blowout. with that said my play is the Giants -133 which i know is slightly out of qualification but i am going to post it anyway. Cueto in a debut vs a team he has historically dominated some of their best players. The brew crew showed me absolutely nothing vs a less than 100% bumgardner i think the giants continue today to bring the bats again and beat the brewers EASILY

@Dank...I will be laying off but that is the only way to bet that game. Laying 26 points is ridiculous in a championship game but if Syracuse doesn't sink that 3 ball they could lose by 40!

@bubba & @dank laying 25+ does sound risky but -14.5 at the half doesnt sound to risky to me considering UCONNs track record...

$$$$ LA KINGS REGULATION(+105)$$$$

This team pissed me off yesterday!! I dropped 500$ on them and they lost to Vancouver, so I'm going to try and make my money back from yesterday so I'm taking them again today against Calgary.

The last time they met was March 31st and the Kings came away with a 3-0 victory. Kings are currently sitting on a 2 game losing streak and are trying to capture that top spot in the Pacific as one point separates them from the Ducks(who are also in action tonight, should be a good game to look into also). I know the Kings are coming off a game yesterday but the Kings are actually a pretty good team playing in back to backs as there record this season is 6-3.

With little left to play for at this juncture in the season, look for the Flames to fall at home on Tuesday night. The Kings have won four of the last five meetings in this series and seven of the last 10 meetings in Calgary. Look for those trends to continue in this Western Conference battle.

Bruins need the win after that road skid, and Carolina was mathematically eliminated from playoffs after Saturday's loss. This is Bruins first game back home and they need to win atleast 2 of their last 3, if not all 3. I'll take a motivated Bruins team against a deflated Hurricanes team even with the juice.

I have my own MLB thread but will post only my 3-5* pod on this thread for my appreciation of the college basketball thread. I will not list reasoning for play because record will speak for itself! I know it sounds cocky but I will say this..I handicap my baseball plays to the fullest! I've been doing this for 40 years and look at everything from mph wind blowing in or out of stadium, how many runs umpire averages for past few years and vs pitchers, teams vs lefties vs righties, pitchers day vs night, pitchers vs top players on other team ect.ect.ect so that is the reasoning for every pod I post on here! BUBBASKI I hope that will suffice. Best of luck everyone and lets crush some bookies behind!!

Thank You Bubbaski27 for keeping this thread going. I'm going to give this a shot and go with the Dodgers-117 . I agree with nfl_brosuf in his writeup and feel like the Dodgers bring their A game again tonight. i'm usually leary of road games but see value in this game tonight. Going with a team 15-5 last 20 vs pads.

First time poster in this thread. Some of the reasons for betting games on here are highly questionable. Because the Dodgers won 15-0 shows you they have a deep bullpen? I don't see how that is relevant. Anywho, onto my plays.

STL vs PIT

Being a St. Louisan, I get to see these guys play everyday. Opening Day was a bit deceiving due to the weather in Pit and is likely to be a factor again this evening. The birds bats will be very, very anemic for a lot of the year. They didn't address the SS situation with as much urgency as they should have. Losing Peraltas power (one of few power sources on the roster) is going to effect them more than they think. They will look much better today then Sunday, but we haven't hit lefties not named Kershaw since the 80s. Wacha has that competitor mentality that he learned from Wainwright, so I fully expect him to sharp and eager to get back on the hill. Cold weather=huge pitching advantage.

My two cents on the other games:

Verlander hasn't been himself for three years. His WHIP over the last three years is somewhere around 1.3. Not to mention the Tigers offense is nothing to write home about. Marlins are a team headed in the opposite direction. Young and stocked with talent. **Give me Chen and the Fish

I have no idea how Milwaukee expects to score runs this year. They are very, very, very bad. Not to mention their pitching staff is guys that may not start on some minor league teams.

Shelby Miller pitched really, really well last year. Unfortunately the Braves offense didn't show up to any of his starts. The loss of Pollock is gonna sting, but Goldy and the boys should get things going tonight Bettis who is, how do you say, not very good....

Their offense is continuing from last year scoring five runs in the past two games against TB best pitchers. Now they're playing a pitcher who has an era of 5.71 against them.

Sanchez may give up a few runs but I think the Jays offense do enough to win the game

St Louis Cardinals -120

This pick is more a fade of the Pirates starter John Niese. If it wasn't for injuries Niese would not be the second pitcher to start the 2016 season. St Louis is a very strong road team and some players have had good success against Niese over his career. Michael Wacha gives them the lead and the bullpen holds for a comfortable win.
