Sat results

Can't believe some of these starters after 6 Starts and still can't get it together

But first lets review yesterdays plays

Its Corriea or the under in 5 inn for me (Lost Both) Gives up 4 and 3 
Hughes more consistent in both 5 and 9 inn for me

Detroit is on fire in 5 and 9(RL due to Juice)
Rays gm Under with Cobb/Chacin
Cards /Garcia in 5
latos (prob the best play today) in 5
Phils gm Under in 5
RYU gets my vote to win in 5 and 9 Cain is BAD

Latos in 5
Ryu in 5
Kluber in 5
Verlander in 9 due to juice on RL
Darvish in 5 ( Lester not pitching well of late)
rays gm Under (Got 5 in lieu of 4.5)

Well another strange day with these Starters

Cain finally comes and brings his nonexistent A game after 3 ugly Starts (9-2-7-4-4) to pitch a (0) in 5 inn and actually gets it to the 8th after 6 ugly starts thru 9 inn ( 4-14-4-7-6-4) and yesterday a 3

Cobb after 3 starts in 5(2-0-0) Chacin after 4 starts (1-1-2-0) combined finally weaken and allow  5 runs (3-2) for a push in 5 inn at 5

Darvish after 3 great starts (0-0-2) allows 3 to Boston and loses and just the opposite Lester with 2 ugly starts 
(3-6) finally brings his A game and allows 1 run


and the we hve the starters that continue to perform as expected
Verlander at ( 0-3-1-0-2-1) pitches a shutout and poor Humber continues to pitch badly (0-3-2-19-7) with a 4

Slowey continues to pitch very well (1-1-0-1-2-1) in 5 inn and out performs with  a 0 against Halladay who is truly having PROBLEMS (12 runs in 5 inn is a problem)

Latos continues to perform well (0-1-0-0-) last 4 starts and yest a 3 which i did not like to see but was able to eek out a W
only because Jackson is that bad(2-5-1-3-3-8) and yest a 4

Garcia shows promise with his last 2 starts( 0-1) and yest  1 run in 5 inn and Estrada continues to struggle

Hudson continues  to form yest with a 2 thru 5 inn 

So how do we as the Gambling public figure out what these Starters will do BEFORE they step on the MOUND and waste our money

I think the answer is to be even more selective in pitches we take and only wager on just the ones that show more promise to continue to pitch well yes that will mean less wagers but poss less losses

Do we have any today that fit that bill

My 2 TOP Starters for TODAY worthy of 10 units each and if juice is high i see no problem with the RL if play it in 9

Clay Bucholtz has shown he has that ability 
1-5 inn (1-0-0-1-2-0)
6-9 inn (3-1-0-2-0-1)
totals   (4-1-0-3-2-1)

Baumgarner also has shown that ability
1-5 inn (0-1-0-2-0-0)
6-9 inn (0-1-2-1-3-1)
totals   (0-2-2-3-3-1)

These 2 starters have shown they can win with their Pitching performances regardless if TEAM supports them or not.They also deserve our support in any way we wish to support them

Tepesch has shown that Ability but best in 5 inn
1-5 inn (1-2-0-0-2)
6-9 inn (0-2-0-1-3)
totals   (1-4-0-1-5)

1-5 inn (1-0) and 6-9 shows continued ability (1-2) for Tot (2-2)
So can we count on an UNDER in 5 inn today

Had to go out of town for business so been AOL for a few days

but have been following what is going on and at least i see some Starters starting to settle down.

and yes quite a few still in limbo with their control

What looks good today to me

This is how i see it
Cubs gm Over in 5
Mets gm over in 5
Reds gm over in 5
Miller should win this in 5 and 9 juice is high so RL in 9
Pass phils and Cloyd
Atla gm set at 6.5 don't think starters are in control yet so over for me in 5 and 9
Cleve in 5 for me
Pass Boston gm starters too erratic pass
Chance pelfrey or pass
Nyy will win this in 5 and 9 IMO
Axelrod gets my $$$
Pass Tex gm Kuchel first start
All over Iwakuma in 5 and 9 poss a 10 unit play
Rays gm looks like an under but in 9 inn ( line is 8) also leaning Cobb
