WEC 44 Plays - A new champ to be crowned tonight!

Question

YTD Record:&#xD;&#xA;Overall: 66-71, &#x2B;22.25 units &#xD;&#xA;UFC: 57-63, &#x2B;17.25 units &#xD;&#xA;Affliction: 2-2, &#x2B;0.5 Units &#xD;&#xA;WEC: 5-4, &#x2B;0.5 Units&#xD;&#xA;Strikeforce 2-2, &#x2B;4 Units&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;Only two plays for tonight&#x2019;s WEC 44 Card, as I try to once again avoid my &#x2B;20 unit curse.  For those who have forgotten, every time I have cracked the YTD &#x2B;20 unit mark, I tend to have a disastrous handicapping night!  &#xD;&#xA;1.  Jose Aldo (-105) over Mike Brown.  Risking 4.2 to win 4 units.  Mike Brown is tough as nails, but I think Jose Aldo is more well rounded.  I think both guys have one strike knockout power, but I believe Aldo&#x2019;s BJJ could play a serious factor if the fight hits the ground.  I am concerned if this fight goes the distance, as Brown has been through 5 round battles before, and his cardio is top notch.  I am banking on Aldo scoring a knockout or submission early in the fight.  Otherwise, I will probably be holding my breath until the judges decisions&#x2026;&#xD;&#xA;2.  Leonard Garcia (-110) over Manny Gamburyan.  Risking 1.1 to win 1 unit.  I have never been a big fan of Manny, and has shown to have a weak chin in the past.  This could be a bad sign facing Garcia who can knockout anyone at any time.  I think Manny has the advantage if the fight hits the ground, but I don&#x2019;t think he will be able to take Garcia down&#x2026;&#xD;&#xA;BOL to everyone with your plays!

Definitely on Garcia here. Mike Brown made him Look silly in their fight.&#xD;&#xA;I may also play Aldo tonight. His is a really awesome fighter. His double flying knees to Swanson were sick.

&#xD;&#xA;I know it is tough going against Brown, but I truly believe that Aldo is the better all around fighter.  I am definitely looking forward to tonights fight!

This is why I am playing this one small.&#xD;&#xA;I really do like Aldo a lot tonight.  It definitely could be a close fight, but I really think Aldo gets a submission after rocking Brown.  Hope I am right on this one...

I think it&#x27;s time you change books, because both fighters you picked are dogs at the books I play at.  In fact, Aldo can be found at &#x2B;109, and Garcia at &#x2B;115.  What book are you playing at?

I know that their lines are not always as competitive as some of the other books, but they allow parlays, which most of the more competitive lined books do not.  &#xD;&#xA;Most of the time, I might have to lay an extra .1 of a unit.  Other times, their lines are competitive.  It really depends on the fight...

Another winning night, as Aldo came through in devastating fashion. Of all the Zuffa champions, I figured that Mike Brown would be the first to get knocked off. I think Jose Aldo is going to be very difficult to beat. I am kind of hoping that Faber gets the next title shot so that I can cash in one more time on Aldo at a reasonable price.

Too bad Garcia stunk it out tonight. It looked like he gassed trying to defend the takedowns in the first round, and the threat of the takedown seemed to really effect his striking aggressiveness. Overall, a 1 and 1 night and +3 units. The magical +30 unit YTD mark is finally in my grasp!!!

Congrats man, but let me suggest you sign up/switch to 5 dimes for your MMA betting.  They allow parlaying of MMA as well, and their odds are way better than bet365.Cheers.
