I have a feeling Conor may be a bit too big and elusive for Mendes. That's my hunch but nothing will surprise me here. Gun to head - Conor wins.
there is nothing to suggest that conner is elusive if fighting off the back foot is what you are suggesting.
conner is a bully, psychologically and physically, and fights accordingly going straight forward. what happens when the bully runs into someone who is not going to be bullied like what happened in the first holyfield/tyson fight?
conner has shown to be a great striker but is not a polished as some people think. he really has shown little in the way of a right hand or counter punching and leaves himself wide open to a wrestler and a-level fighter like mendes and edgar when he throws the flashy kicks.
