Am just thinking this is a good pick on the night...main event of the prelims and Tate is actually ranked one place higher. Ideally Tate lands more strikes to win a decision and avoids a few takedowns. McMann is kinda ZZzzz
I played Miesha with my NCAA picks

miesha isn't very good imo. she even struggled in her last fight against that short fat Japanese chick (her only true win in the ufc) carmouche clearly beat her

"Now, McMann...she must be not to sharp to allow herself to be pinned on the bottom in the pivitol third round -- what an idiot!"
Dominant wrestlers are notoriously horrible bottom players. When Sara hit that whizzer hip toss, which was beautiful, she stepped over Tate in order to settle her hips. If your opponent is in turtle position as was Tate, this is a horrible idea because Tate has a deep underhook and only needs to elevate her hips (re-hip toss) and nearly anyone her size is ending on bottom. The crazy thing is that Tate made the same mistake twice in the Rousey II fight. In actuality, McMann felt Tate's body on her back, where the step over is the proper technique, but while she was stepping over Tate rolled back over to turtle. If McMann was able to hook the opposite leg, she's in perfect position there for the Eddie Bravo twister series.
I only mention this because it was actually a nice little sequence of rolling by both women but Tate was just very active which allowed her to win the scramble. I had McMann too. She's not an idiot, she just needs a lot of bottom work.

Sarah may nopt be an idiot, Ok, though to stay there for a whole round certainly was not smart... I don't get how fighters in that position stay put...need to scramble/explode like life depends on it!
Hope to have more good UFC play(s) next card
Ouch, she earned respect...

Word. The ego is a powerful thing. She obviously won the first round. I imagine, in her mind, she won the second. In order to stand up, she probably would've needed to give up a back take. I imagine she weighed it as the threat of an RNC from there > her losing the second round.
Diaz thought he won every round.
