2 year layoff, coming off from injury and didn't do any training at altitude, Mexico city is 2k feet higher than Denver, it ate him alive, He had it in his head he was winning in the 1st round and when he knew he wasn't, it was all over, he got embarrassed. Nobody holds the heavyweight belt for long

You're dreaming. Werdum has looked world class in his recent fights. He beat the brakes off Travis Browne for 5 rounds. He TKO'd Mar Hunt. He submitted Minotauro. Meanwhile Cain had 5 fights against the same 2 guys over and over spreading a 5 year span. That itself is not impressive. Add a 2 year layoff and poor training, there wasn't much in Cain's favor. Add his horrible decision to not train at altitude and he didn't have a chance. You say he would be 90% to win in Vegas, but there's no evidence to support it.

I guess the first step is being a professional and training like one. He couldn't even manage that much. It seems you believe the altitude was the difference maker. I'm saying it was icing on the cake. If you compare their last 5 fights, Werdum showed more. He beat 5 good fighters in a diverse show of skills. Cain went 4-1 against 2 guys who only can swing for the fences and lack any other skill. In any case, Cain will be out for at least a year and I'm very happy about that. He was an inactive champion who would only fight 2 guys for 5 years. So glad he's finally out, the fans are going to benefit greatly.
