U just not watch ufc much ..Chad got hit snd stun but McGregor only had a few punches in maybe and ref already stepping in to stop it . Round was seconds away from being over somehow ref stepped in so fast. Most of the time ref will let round end unless they aren't cover up for the punches but mendez was clearly covering for those few punches but ref step in when he knew it's few seconds from the end of round . I guess ufc invested so much money on McGregor ..need him to win so he and aldo be a bigger m?ney event haha

Just saying ..good fight overall maybe mendes was done but the stoppage was quick..rsther have another round..

Mendes gambled on his move and lost.  I think he knew he was gassed and wasn't gonna make it 5 rounds and gave it a shot.  Should've probably waited out the round on top of McGregor and seen if a rest would've helped before making that decision.

This was a weird fight.  Chad looked sooo gassed at times. At other times he looked the dominate figther so many thought he would be in this fight.  I definitely don't think it was an early stoppage and it didn't look like mendes thought so either.  Great fight card.  If nothing else Conor hits hard whether he's a 155lber or 145lber.
