Update.

Madaket Road ranked No. 18 on the Kentucky Derby points list with 46 after finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Florida Derby on March 29 at Gulfstream Park.
Bob Baffert still has two horses expected to run in the Kentucky Derby with Wood Memorial winner Rodriguez and Santa Anita Derby fourth-place finisher Citizen Bull.

Woods memorial winner has a good work out yesterday.

Baffert also has a familiar rider for Rodriguez in the Derby – Hall of Famer Mike Smith, a two-time Derby winner who was aboard Baffert’s Justify in their 2018 Triple Crown sweep.

Rodriguez, the Wood Memorial (G2) winner going gate-to-wire, worked 5 furlongs in 1:00.40 on April 19 at Santa Anita – his first work since the April 5 win at Aqueduct.

“All went well,” Baffert said.

Baffert’s Derby duo and others he has running at Churchill Downs on Kentucky Oaks (G1) day on May 2, and Derby Day, May 3, are scheduled to be shipped to Louisville on Tuesday or Thursday.

Although I think Rodriguez is a very good horse, I tend to back away from horses that have had a super clean trip and won in their last race. 
So it was the case for Rodriguez in the wood memorial. I could be wrong, but I have to eliminate some horses out of the top three somehow and that is one of the factors I look at. Gl on derby day

Sandman, winner of the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby, put in his final major piece of work for Kentucky Derby 2025 on a clear Wednesday morning at Churchill Downs, working five furlongs in 1:02.4 under Froylan Garcia for trainer Mark Casse.

At Santa Anita, 2-year-old champion Citizen Bull worked seven furlongs in 1:24.2 for trainer Bob Baffert before his anticipated arrival at Churchill Downs on Thursday
