Last I heard, the turf races will still be on the lawn but there was concern.

Recap of today's racing.

9 races: 5 favorites won, 1 placed, 1 showed, 1 hit the board

Bad had 3 winners today

Good had 2 winners today

Neutral had 4 winners today

1 female jockey won - now 2 for 18 races

No jockey or trainer won back-to-back races

Samuel Marian, jockey, won two turf races

Trainer Juan Avila had a pair of wins today

Here is how race one broke down for me:

2: won last cheap race - play not to win

3: breeding issue

4: scratched ( this helped because had three others plus this one thought could win )

That left the 1, 5 and 6.

Here's why I liked them:

1: previous success at track and distance plus MM always gives a honest effort

5: 7 in the money finishes at the distance means very competitive

6: a place from two at the distance plus Samy was scheduled

One was victorious paying $34.60 for the win.

Hope you were successful as well for the race and day.
