6) Taking a handful of overhyped horses that have never won twice and cost a bit over 3 million.
Baffert's colt will be favored and should be as lone speed yet don't trust him especially at something to five.
7) A scratched-up tilt down the hill with nothing to offer. Sadlers, stater tries the grass and will take them as far as he goes. Dougie has our other two with the tagged-up colt likely a perfect trip.
8) Stake brings French Blue a homer from the powerful navy blue and red diamonds. Gun Runner soph knocked down maidens in her only voyage with aplomb.
Filly been gold in the am since dusting yesterday's San Felipe winner in her series. First foal from Grade 3 winning dam who was very fast.
9) Maiden green eight panels brings "Vow" off the shelf. Not This Time 4yo made the races as a juvenile for Tagg yet could not handle the starting gate. Dropped in for 75K in Miami, claimed then ran HUGE race. Eleven hole, rail at 45 feet, checked, six wide and still got the place at 25-1. Been looking sharp in the mornings and if fit after 13 months off a major player. Also the deserving fave and "Surf who is zero for nine yet is sitting on a big one and will come a callin late

So Cal racing had been the best profit center, for competent cappers, for a number of years yet sadly, now, the horse shortage is affecting the product.
Nevertheless, it is still a bettable venue due to the compressed condition book, availability of relevant data, great weather and extreme equines.
End of rant; for now.
Modest pick four attempt today though to be fair the 7th race mass exodus where three scratched animals at double digit odds could win. A lack of driiling down motivation acknowledged.
6) As mentioned, in short, the underachievers one x. Baffert's 13 to ten shot is dead in the paddock and stops a half mile out, Dougie's 8yo in good form gets a dream trip at 6-1 and scores easily. Of note, Peter in a TVG interview prior to the race, says his 1.25 million horse is tons best if he behaves. Not so; very bad stumble drops Mikie, who in a post race interview evoked solid confidence in this one. Not much for keeping a "stable" yet pencil this one in for a score next out.
7) no comments aside from the scratches that figured.\
8) got a little off base here falling in love with a filly, hardly fitting for an eight-decade bachelor! Odd race, Breeders cup winner , favored yet not right. Huge blood count in her 3yo debut, done at the break. My single breaks well makes an easy lead, looks long gone at the 5/8's,confronted by the other Baffert succumbed at the pole. Asked a lot to go from maiden sprint to two turn graded, yet opened 7-5. Of note some bash double B yet his winner was very head strong in both her races with shades on. Bob worked her 1:14 out of the gate without blinkers, tho she always wears them. Slowest work I've seen from this barn inyears; swing and make a dad choice foolishly not realizing it was not a knuckle ball.
9) Pretty formful, lucked out when Armando found room, modest tri cashed, though logical favorite collapsed. bbb
