9)  Starter 8K or ten claimer, 6f, Haywood came off the shelf and ran the best race of his career @13-1 going flag fall to finish. Halo Rando also off a shelving stopped same race @ 8-5, worked large since.  "Idiot needs lots to happen to the top two, yet he is sharp.

10)  Elegant Sway is due some luck.  By weak turf sire, she turfed once in first 16 voyages, that lone green try resulted in a 10 month vacation.  December 2024 tried a mile 25K ran a good second behind heavy fave.  Then tried 125K stake at 100-1, reasonable 4th with the whip breaking top stretch!  Entered 25K Kyle bounced this one off the rail at the 3/8's.  Very sharp Andy claims this one, keeps Kyle going down the hill, while making strong bid veers out badly over the dirt crossing.  The hood comes off for her last yet draws the rail (3 in a row) and bumped hard start, dropping to last, decent rally.  two works (good under Kyle) since, not much to beat here.  All / 3,4,5,6  / 2,5,7 / 4   bbb

 At the end of the day, when all is calm, the decline of racing, Cali anyway, is absolutely alarming. Not that the overall national outlook is any better, ignorant tariffs, America 37 trillion in debt and the government will soon vote to increase it.  Our democracy is moving, somehow, to authoritarian rule/dictatorship, the bond market on fire, yet no one cares?  For us, a dishwasher dying, a temperamental coffee maker and a plumbing leak, and yet cappin cards with thin margins irritates us to the max.  Hopefully Delmar, the mecca of pari-mutuel nirvana delivers' if not the new dishwasher, coffee maker and plumbing bill will be on me, and not you, most disturbing.
