Saturday Racing

Ellis Park may be more attractive betting than the SPA today. I seem to have quite few stable plays which I'll note as we move along. Muggy in South Florida today but the Heinekens are chilling on ice.

WOW the #11 with Rosario nosed out Irad with the chalk #1.

Irad's been involved in 2 nose races winning one & losing one.

Race #1 was claimed for 32 in his last & Jacobson drops him down to 20k claimer? Hunting for a purse? #2 no one liked him last time @ 20-1 when he ran 2nd; Saez up for Franco. #3 attracts me because this spring I became a big Ten Strikes Racing fan. If you throw out her last, she could be right there. #4 scratched . #5 has been the beaten favorite in his last 2. #6 Rudy Rod is en fuego winning @ 29%. #7 has won his last 3. #8 comes in from Finger Lakes (short trip) for sneaky Chris Englehart.

I picked #6 last night & am stickin wit em!

Race 5 I found it comical that #11 is a first time Gelding and his name is Straight Arrow. Indeed!!!

#3 Prat won with this guy last year at the SPA. #4 didn't like the turf & goes back to dirt. #5 was won 1 of 15 but trained by Rice. #6 always heavily bet. #7 love that Tyler is riding this one for Maker.

These are horses that I've been following for an extended period of time that I expect to run well.

Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don't.

Shug gets his 1st win of the meet after 13 tries with #2 Smokin T with Johnny V. That kind of  rhymes. Another close race...wow.

Bay Storm won @ Ellis but #4 ran 4th.

Going to wheel #8 Maple Leaf Mel in the exacta & double. There are some nice double payoffs.

Locked out at NYRA bets. Must be overwhelmed.
