First 2 days have been real tough capping. Have to give an extra look at anything Luis Saez is riding & Mike Maker seems to have his ready to run in every race. Irad has been having trouble getting to the wire so far with a 18-2-5-6 record. He's usually heavily bet, so maybe across the board plays are better on him until he gets into his stride. Will keep swinging away..

Luis Saez coming off the pace with #7 putting away the speed after being bet down from 7/2 to 2-1 completes a real nice $76 exacta with #5. 

Race 3 #1 is a lightly raced filly from Pletcher's barn. Prat jumps on here & off #12 with Rosario up for Danny Gargan. Chad Brown's # 4 has run 2nd in all 3 starts & is the chalk here. Billy Mott has a firster in #11 with some good works over the track & like the daddy Distorted Humor. I'll give this girl a shot

Damn..Prat chose the right filly with #1. Bill Mott's filly didn't run a lick.

Race 5 # 9 Rally Squirrel is my play. Gave up the lead at 1 1/8 & shortens to 1 1/16 here. Might make the difference.

Also playing #10 Marinara Sauced. He won at first asking coming from nowhere & in his last got banged around at least twice & still finished 3rd.

Race 6 #3 Chris and Dave is 9 years old & has banked almost 900k. His last was a stinker. Also like Linda Rice owner/trainer.

Race 7..we all look for certain angles & I'm looking at # 6 Answer In who did not finish in his last because of a broken rein. He was 6-1 in his last & is now 28-1 & Prat stays onboard. #5 looks real tough, so I'll box these two & WPS on #6.

Race 9 we have a big jock change on the 1A from Samuel to Prat. That caught my attention along with Jose Lezcano, an excellent turf rider, being part of the entry. Next, we have Repole also racing 2 getting red hot Luis Saez and Manny Franco who has won a couple so far in the meet including one today. Gotta respect #6 Credit Event for Pletcher/Irad.  Gafflione hasn't won a race yet up there & is due, right? #3 Forever Souper is no slouch shipping up from GP after winning his last 2.

I get 4 horses by putting both #1 & #2 in my box. Going with Irad & Johnny V on 6 & 3. Tyler got married earlier this week I think & is riding like he has something on his mind for after the races. 27 year old...newly married...he's thinking of knocking boots later

Race 10 take a look at #11 Puttheblameonme won at first asking by 2 in a closing move going 4.5F. He ships in from Philadelphia Park & is currently 21-1 & worth an across the board play.

Repole's #4 is getting hammered at the window because it's time to win. Heard trainer Tom Amoss speaking about #5 Curly Jack & he was kind of surprised he ran so well in her only try winning by an easy 4 lengths. Rosario is reds hot & Rudy Rod gets his share of winners.
