In Race 5 today I watched Irad, Javier & Prat combine for a $1 tri box paying $394. Irad went gate to wire winning by 3; both Castellano & Prat closed to complete the tri.

I played Wesley Ward's first timer #3 who was bet down to 6/5 in a tri key on top with the guys above. Looked at his workouts & they were nothing special but I thought we got Wesley Ward with a 2 year old colt going 5.5 F with Victor Espinoza bringing his tac to the SPA to drum up some business & that looked good to me. He ends up running 9th of 10.

I'm kicking myself in the ass because that would have been a nice addition to the kitty with the Haskell coming up Saturday at Monmouth.
