Looking at the PP's for the Preakness, I don't remember seeing Danzig Moon being bumped or steadied in the Derby. If anyone can get you in trouble IMO it's Leparoux. I just don't remember seeing it. Many of the talking heads like this one to be part of the super.
So if we get the expected rain & the track ends up sloppy # 6 Bodhisativa will get more money on him than if there is no rain based on his off track record of 2-0-1-1.
So since I'm looking for one or more of the usual suspects to fail, I look for a fresh horse with a jockey who can win anywhere anytime with any pace on any kind of racing surface.
I come up with #7 Divining Rod & Javier Castellano. Love the Tapit breeding, ran a decent 3rd to Carpe Diem when he was bumped in the stretch & he'll be a decent price. Certainly will use him in my exotics as well.
Reading all the threads & online articles about the race I'm reminded of the great Mike Tyson who once said " Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face."
