Pinnacle will no longer offer horse racing wagering

It is the sport of Kings, but they all reside across the water.
Think European racing is a trifle more exciting and those people love to bet.Race sare loaded up 15, 20 per race at times.
Euro horses are bred more for stamina then speed [less injuries] and races last a lot longer.
Steeplechase and the like are another way of attracting more fans.

This was a very big loss for me.  I have no access to Woodbine's Horseplayer Interactive (as I live outside their so-called "marketing: jurisdiction), I can't bet with legal U.S. racetrack shops, as I am Canadian, so my only option was offshore.  Pinnacle had very high payout limits and, extremely important for me, no limits on caps on exotic bets.  I bet the way Daneish bet, and that's take 2 horses and wheel them up and down in an exacta box (i.e. 1/all, all/1 and 2/all, all/2)  I have hit some monster exactas using this strategy, and would have hit the Derby one had I not changed my mind to go with Dunkirk instead of Pioneer of the Nile as my second choice horse, which I was leaning towards (first choice horse was Friesan Fire).  Anyways, I'm still looking for a replacement racebook, but all of them that I have seen have caps on exotics (i.e. 600/1 max pay on exactas, so if I hit a monster like I have done in the past that pays, say $2,000 on a $2.00 exacta, I'd get royally fucked as I'd only collect $1,200 offshore as opposed to $2,000 at the track)

My theory of what happened to Pinnacle's racebook is not that nobody was betting it (because, let's be real here, horse racing has been on a steep decline for the last 2 decades, tracks can't operate without revenue from slots anymore).  With Pinny offering the highest payout limits offshore, my guess is that inside guys (trainers, assistants, jockey's, etc...) were pounding the fuck out of horses using inside information at Pinnacle, therefore not affecting the wagering pool, and cashing out big.  And Pinnacle probably took major losses.

Seen as though I brought this up now, has anyone had any experience with bookmaker's racebook?  They have all the tracks I need, decent payout limits and I see no mention of any caps on exotics.

Do they accept Canadians though?

Being Canadian, I doubt they will allow Canadians to bet there

I am quite sure they do carry U.S. racing just like TwinSpires carries Australia, Dubai and some English racing.

Can't remember off hand any of the names of the British books, but take a look at some of the ads/links on Covers, and I am sure you'll find a bunch of them on a Google search.

Logans is no good.... they cap exactas at 750/1 at major tracks, and 500/1 at other tracks.

Anyone with experience at Ladbrokes?  They seem to have a decent racebook there.. can't seem to find any caps there

I think you are on to something mikeyp... from Ladbrokes:

• Bets on all US races, placed through our new interface, will go directly into the relevant racetrack pool. When you bet into the pools you will do so in US dollars, although we will also indicate to you during this process how much you will be spending in sterling. Your stakes and your winnings from US racing bets will always be shown in your account summary in your original currency of choice.
• All bets need to be confirmed as being accepted into the pool to be valid - this will be confirmed to you via your bet receipt. In the United States racetrack pools close for betting purposes when the horses and dogs begin to enter the stalls so you need to ensure you place your bets in good time.
• Your bets will be settled using the odds as declared by the US tracks as the official results. All odds and potential dividends displayed on our site prior to a race starting are for guidance only and are provided to us by the racetracks.

Ladbrokes seems like a well run operation, when I was over in England I saw a whole bunch of Ladbrokes outlets there.  So they must be on the up and up.  Think I found where I will bet the ponies

Ladbrokes have signed agreements with certain tracks over here so they are directly connected to the pari-mutuals.  As a result, there are no limits on wagers and no caps or limits on payouts.

With regards to Bookmaker/Cris, are there no caps on payouts? I did notice that Ladbrokes were missing some tracks (I'm looking for Woodbine/Mohawk Harness if possible).  Was going to open an acct at Bookmaker, but was wondering if they had certain caps on exotics.

On Wednsday night, If I get the chance, I'll post my plays for Woodbine Thoroughbreds... I hit a big exacta this past wensdnay, for a nice $540 payout.  I'd like to be able to bet the harness as well, as Monday nights on the score, they show the harness races.
