Just watched on the TwinSpires feed Brad Cox being very demonstrative talking to Irad who is on #11 Royal Guard who has been on the bench 8 months. Works don't show much but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Ran 1st & 4th.

#6 got pinched at the break & had no chance at all.

Irad closed for 3rd on 11 catching my #9.

Race 6 ...my play #9 Steer Clear scratched. So I'll make a play on #12 French Blue who shortens up from a mile to 6.5F for Prat & Baffert. Baffert scratched his other entry in #3 Nimah. 

This falls into the category of "why run 2 if 1 will do."

I thought #6 came over on my #12 down the stretch but it really wasn't enough for an objection/inquiry. I think you'll have to do something Pacoesque to get taken down this weekend. These boys are riding for a shitload of bucks.

First thoughts... the Ortiz Brothers are going to have a nice weekend. Both are riding great. Is Prat going to stop them from doing so? Which race is Johnny V going to win because we know he'll get a least one. Hell, he's gonna have 12 shots at it! 

I'm on #7 Haulin Ice in the 7th. Got the South Florida connection with the trainer Saffie Joseph.

I like a couple tomorrow but gotta make sure I don't blow a bunch early in the card. Puts me on defensive/wondering posture. I don't think any one likes that.
