Friday Stable Plays

I have 2 for tomorrow but they are in the same race.

SARATOGA RACE 9

#2 IRON OCHARD ML 5-1..This filly has been away since she ran 9TH in the BC JUVENILE FILLIES IN 2025 when she stumbled at the start of the race & lost all chance. Previously to that race, she had won 3 in a row including 2 wins over the Saratoga track. Asmussen, who won both his races today, stays with Rosario which is a good sign as he didn't dump him after the BC race. She has a bullet work over the track going 4F in 46.9 on 6/30.

#5 TOMMY JO ML 7/2..This girl ran 5th in the same race noted above & she had won 4 in a row going into that race & has won 2 over the SPA's surface. These 2 look so much alike including their penchant to go to the or stay close to the lead.

They both have been away since the end of October in 2025. Asmussen also has #10 Goodall & trainer Ian Wilkes also has 2 in the race with #1 Sippin Pretty & #9 A Fine Chardonnay. 

#10 beat #3 in their last matchup. #6 Peach Tie has won 6 of 8 but mostly at Laurel against questionable quality. Trainer Brittany Russell bumps her husband Sheldon off this filly & Manny Franco  hops on board.  

There's a lot more to this race but I'm committed to Stable box of 2 & 5.   

#2 went to the lead as expected but tired badly down the lane.

#5 broke last & was never in the race.

I'm not throwing these girls out of the stable just yet. Maybe they both needed the race.
