 Did some cappin, then decided to pass, then when Carla's 5yo acted ignorant prerace (7), then ran to his stake like works and got up late, switched and put in a ticket.

Opening leg (race 8) brought maiden staters sprinting.  In Cali, most sequences start with maidens, where many jurisdictions bury the race inside it.  In this case for some reason Puype's charge was bet to odds on (4-5), oddly on TV five minutes prior to the race Puype very much downplayed his chances.  Took this one and three others with the latter trio running big.

Stake:  Another reason for my hesitancy to play was the presence of the "King" who we figured even money.  Added Glatt's thing from the white circle group, Mikey back up, previous winner of this race.  The "King" airmailed on the engine at 7-5.

10)  OC/50K @ 7 panels was no problem finding our two; except we finished 2nd and third!  Rosario off the fence had the race won, the ran the last 8th in 4K claimer time; cut in half last two flashes from 8-1.  Other selection a zip code behind early 'got third.

11)  25K claimers long on the lawn saw Enteradragon best on paper, went favored, good race up for 2nd.  Also had one of Mike's who Rickie rode like he was late for work and had a bad passenger tire; nevertheless,  later in meet, big rail, rider switch, similar group could be long gone at a number opening up five quick lengths here while drifting; different bit?  shades??   bbb
