last drew the fence off slow, climbed, now drops after big work the one to beat,  ZOMBO comes out of the same race, beat a head. Two deep.

and may be overlooked on the board, also the 2,3,4 finishers in his last.

9)  Mdn claiming turfer brings Without a Pout.  Lope DE Vega filly sold in April Keeneland and brought the claiming price. A trio of Miami voyages all checks,

before the sale, last in Louisville against better had no chance post ten, rail 36 feet, yet was 3-1.  She has finished in front of six winners, two in stakes

and Richie doesn't run the short.  Aleramo drops for McCarthy who is ridiculous with first time tag maidens.

Western Avenue got us started off OK enough @$6.40.  While wide throughout the drop 25K nw3, to 10 nw3 is very severe, yet at this meet its

not suspicious, Georgie's horse worked huge a week ago and Sean Williams wins the shake.  Our other charge drew inside and resented such, also claimed.

7)   went four long here and didn't use Millers mare who had won four in a row, even with lone speed and a big rail.  Long time tenet seldom see going 1x, 2x win. 

8)  One of the reasons this class is so difficult is that you can win it twice, once on turf, then still eligible for dirt.  Neil's mare was razor sharp, all turf, entered here on short rest.  Foolishly we discarded, tho she had little early speed, was going to have to pass a bunch, and handle severe kickback.  Yet there is a race in the book, on turf in two weeks where she would be something to five?  Mikey on his birthday (59) gives this one a hall of fame ride and runs down the 65-1 shot late.  Volatile heat noted.  As an aside Had an impromptu conversation with Neil back when Dueling Grounds opened.  He had a horse in, I recognized him while he stood on the edge of the paddock.  It was spitting rain, he had binoculars that looked NASA, or US military and had his London Fog raincoat draped over a trash can.  Said hello, asked hin "how he knew if a horse was fit"?   He responded that we "will see in a few minutes".  I responded that I was not asking about this race!  At first he thought like any trainer would assume that  I was looking for a tip. There was a delay at the gate and he graciously gave me a 15 minute executive course on workouts, incredible data that has served me well.  At any rate can't thank him enough, phenomenal data, yet tickets torn up.
