Your Rights in a Traffic Stop

Look, this subject REALLY pushes my buttons.

Here in CT, the Nazi Police stopped a 19 year old kid for speeding and COERCED him to give up his LEGAL & LAWFUL Constitutional Rights.

Unfortunately, despite what your local Police propaganda may say to confuse you...  ALL Police are TRAINED to coerce the public into giving up their Legal Rights.

UNDERSTAND THIS... There IS NO Serve & Protect.

This 19 year old kid was arrested with less than an ounce of MJ and the Police confiscated over $800 cash in his wallet.  The Nazi Police claim he was a "Drug Dealer".

REPEAT AFTER ME... "I DO NOT CONSENT TO ANY SEARCHES.  I WILL NOT ANSWER ANY PERSONAL QUESTIONS AND I RESENT YOU ILLEGALLY DETAINING ME.  I WISH TO BE ON MY WAY WHICH IS MY LEGAL AND LAWFUL CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT.

That's it.  It's over.

The Nazi Police CANNOT detain you beyond that point without jeopardizing their legal position.

EXERCISE YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!

Now, I'm certain we have a few Nazi Police Diicks that will try to confuse this conversation...  Bring it on azzholes.

in all fairness, if a 19 year old kid has 800 bucks cash and over a half oz he probably is a drug dealer. i've screwed myself a few times in the past by opening my big mouth around cops. smart to know your rights

Goose, I'm not following what you're saying.  How do you stop a crazy cop from doing whatever he wants when he stops you?

I don't know if saying that will work.  Some cops are crooked.

It doesn't matter if cops are crooked.

Let them arrest you.

Bottom line is that it WILL NOT hold up in any Court of Law.

Trust me, your lawyer will appreciate you exercising your legal rights and will win ANY legal suit against you.  And will probably want to go after the Police Department for damages too.

The kid is most likely screwed regardless.

Not trying to be snobby or anything, but here in Connecticut a 19 year old with a half ounce and $800 cash is considered normal by most of us residents.  You EXPECT this kind of Police behavior in places like Texas and Alabama.  Here in Connecticut this IS NOT acceptable at all.

Detain him and get a search warrant ON WHAT GROUNDS???

You are 100% within your legal rights to ask to be ON YOUR WAY.

Like I said previously, let the Police arrest you, your lawyer will have a field day in court.  You may even ultimately get a couple of crooked cops FIRED.

And if you ARE in possession of an "illegal" substance,  what could you possibly lose by saying "I DO NOT CONSENT TO ANY SEARCHES"?

mb acceptable but not normal. most 19 year olds, even from affluent areas aren't driving around with 800$ cash and that much weed together. did the kid have a scale and baggies also?

A man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 10600 block of North Cedarburg Road at 1:25 a.m. April 2. Police asked the man about the strong odor of marijuana in the car and he said his friend, whom he had dropped off, had been smoking the drug. Found in the car were 3.3 grams of marijuana and a pipe with a large amount of burnt residue.
