I'm curious to know what ROI people are getting from their betting.

The easiest measure is level stakes ROI as we can all compare apples with apples.

Over my last 147 bets I have a level stakes ROI of 8.3%.

How are you doing?

in horses ytd -1.3% so you are doing by far better than me.

football ytd I am -15 dollars. but that includes the handle taken.

the bets at a local last season.

It's a tough one, My record for the past 800 bets is probably around 175-624-1, So my return of interest is a percentage of f-ck all.

You are in the minority. Anybody that honestly answers this over the years is probably at least -20%.

I would say 95% of the gambling world will not see green in their gambling lives (not counting the stock market of course),

It should be for entertainment purposes only. You're only kidding yourself if you think it's a viable source of income.
