What's the lamest thing you have ever done for a bachelor party?

I know everyone's got a story about the wild times, but i would like to hear about the weakest one. i've got a bachelor party coming up for a childhood buddy of mine. the whole crew of us grew up together and back in the day we had some rowdy memories. i'm not sure what happened over the last couple years, but this dude came up with the weakest bachelor party i have ever heard of. i told my wife and she thought i was making this sh*t up to cover up for something else. after i told her, she goes wow... that's extremely 

so first this dude tried to rent out a bowling alley and do bowling and bocci ball with all you can drink bar. after we all told him we aren't chipping in our money for that, he had the man of honor reconstruct a new plan. this was the best he could come up with, and this was chosen over the cubs roof top:  a bus picks us up from the train station and brings us to a BYOB float trip down some lazy river. they have an all you can eat taco bar, volleyball court, and slip n slide. there's no lockers or anything so you gotta carry everything with you. 

i don't know about you, but this sounds like something i might do with my wife or like a couples getaway activity. because we have to carry everything with us, everyone splits and goes their own way after it's over, which ends at 8:30 p.m. this is hands down the weakest bachelor party i have ever been invited to, and i know it's about hanging with the guys and celebrating our friend waving good bye to being single, but C'MON MAN!!! 

i honestly think he's doing this so his wife doesn't go out and get wild with her friends, like there was a mutual agreement. anyways, that's my rant. would love to hear someone else one up me so i feel better about the trip this weekend

I think you're right but she's probably gonna go out anyway. Atleast two of her friends are gonna wanna see heaters and the rest will follow suit. Unless there's strippers on the volleyball court this is trash.

stu, i would be lying to you if i said there would be any tits other than the guys man boobs out on that volleyball court

If you go out with a negative attitude with your mind made up then your guaranteed to have a sh!try time. The older you are the less you can drink and party like the old days. It sounds like the best man and the groom have a better idea what he wants to do to celebrate. Maybe he wants it low key with his closest buddies. Not something wild like you guys would do in your early to mid 20s. I dont know how old you guys are but this is coming from a 34 year old man.

Even if you're not digging this lame idea, go in there with a good attitude and the others should follow suit. Negative BS is contagious.

slob, well said. i read your response and got a little irritated. i asked myself why and realized it's because everything you said is 100% true. i'm sure it'll still be a fun little run, maybe i set the expectations a little high. hell, i feel hungover from staying up until midnight last night to watch half of the byu vs. utah game.. and that's without drinking (coming from a 30 year old man). lol

regardless, would still like to hear some other bachelor party stories

ODB I am way older as you know I think,but to me it sounds like a guy on his 3rd marriage that has spent a few days in re-hab and just wanted to take it easy before saying I DO,but since that is not the case here I do have another reason,since I work in a Hotel and have had my share of Wedding Parties to deal with.

So mid 30s has been to a few weddings I would guess as we all have and last 10 years the ones I have had to deal with are nothing but a big drunk-a-tron,they try to hit the bar after drinking all day and night at midnight and I am handing out water as they are to drunk to serve and just can not believe I will not serve them since I can not understand what they are saying.So maybe your Friend just did not want to be in the middle of a bunch of drunk guys all trying to get him to do way to many shots.Now this might have nothing to do with anything,but I have been the sober one watching a group of 100 drunks and it is not pretty,and the BYOB is big to me as he is not going to foot the bill to get all his Friends Drunk and Sick.JMHO
