Whatever happened to Crystal Mangum?

Watching an episode of Snapped. The infamous Crystal was one of two strippers hired by the Duke lacrosse team in 2006 at a house party. She ended up accusing 3 of them of sexual assault which became national news, led to the cancellation of their season, and the firing of their coach, for the team at that time top rated in the country. Eventually, through DNA testing, it was determined the accusations were false. Local district attorney was fired. So what happened to Crystal after that? She murdered her boyfriend, stabbed him to death in 2011. Sentenced up to 18 years, possibly getting out in 2026. And the 3 accused lacrosse players? Each received a $20 million dollar settlement from Duke University. 

Finishing up, a previous boyfriend testified against her. After an argument, she burned many of his things in the bathtub. Police came, while there, she grabbed a knife from the kitchen only to be stopped by the police. Eventually convicted of arson and did 3 months in jail. And after 2026, she could be out, only 48 years old then. Men of Durham county, don't forget Crystal Mangum, or you could be next.
