I bought a car in Virginia and had it shipped, 3 weeks ago. The car came about two days for delivery.
The title was mailed separately by first class registered mail..... 2 weeks later still no letter the letter say in Richmond Virginia for 8 days..... Was in Virginia for 10 days....
This wasn't just a letter it was registered mail.
In the 1800's moving letters from Virginia to mail by a sail ship took about 4 days .... To move an ounce of gold from Columbia California to houlton Maine took 2 weeks by pony Express...they would wire the money and be available before the coin arrived....
Today it takes 15 days to receive mail 700 miles away...
What the heck happened to this once noble service?
