"The men say they are sorry and that they wouldn't have done this if they weren't drunk," he said.

Boy, if I had a nickel every time I've used that line.....

Very disgusting but never ever ever engage punks and thugs as a tourist overseas, keep on walking and ignore the chirps.

I've never traveled to SE Asia but I've heard the people are very friendly until they are drunk, then they have like a violent allergic reaction that makes them hostile to tourists.  I'm not joking.

Among many stories I've heard I remember one about a bunch of thugs attacking MMA fighter Uriah Faber for what he said was no reason.  they got a little more than they bargained for though

Yeah, Beer muscles pretty much all over the world. Little pukes like this actually don't care how badly they get their face punched in or chocked out when they go after the wrong dude. Been in way too many of those messes in S America. The other drunken punks just run away.
These poor folks really needed some backup against these scrawny little dinks. Too bad a Covers squad wasn't in the bar watching a game.

why would u go to thailand anyways?

notorious place for drugging people.

the gov't been brainwashing their people since ...

they wonder why people leave tips when they finish their meals.

a tourist asked a nightclub guy to play 'hotel california' during his karaoke the guy refused and killed the tourist.

redbull's kid kills someone and gets scotch free.

thailand loves to kill/hurt their own tigers.

stay away from thailand unless u want the runs.

Isolated incident
Much like here in the US
Been to Thailand 12 times
Never had an issue.

As a matter of fact
the Police in Thailand protect the tourist rights.
Unlike my other favorite place on this planet the Philippines where the cops try and extort the tourist.
