Vegas Sports Betting Apps or Online/Offshore?

Hi, I'm new to this and wanted to see what you all recommend for sports betting.  Seems like it's a lot of trouble to visit the sportsbook (and wait in line) each time I want to place a bet.

Is it better to use an offshore/online book like Bovada/5Dimes, etc. or one of those sports betting apps I see the Vegas casinos offer?  

Anyone here has experience with the sports betting apps when within Nevada?  Thanks!
