 Egypt is really cheap, I'd been to Egypt months ago and surely you will really enjoy there, Cairo you should really never missed  Egyptian Museum, Giza  and for luxor visit Temple of Hatshepsut and Aswan, Alexandria, and the Sinai . There's a lot to visit. But be careful on the food a friend of mine got sick because of the foods!

@notyo

 Wow, thanks for this, I wonder did you get a guide when you visited egypt? I'm battling on getting one. if you did, do you have any recommendations?

You should really get one, it will be less hassle and less stress. We hired our tour guide from https://gowithguide.com/egypt our guide was really enthusiastic and very accommodating just check there site. I hope this will help you! Safe travel.

just got home from 2 weeks in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. We go there every year and rent a cabin. This summer ,hopefully a trip to North east and Niagra Falls ,wife has never been there. This fall back to Minnesota to see granddaughters and sons family. This country has so much to see. After retiring, took my wife on a trip out west for7 weeks. 27 states and seen a ton. Would like to see Egypt, Rome Greece one day too.

2024 was great for us. I hope in 2025 we will have more trips. I know what you mean about trying to plan exciting trips. My family and I were aiming for a mix in 2025, something adventurous but also relaxing. One spot we’ve been seriously considering is Westgate River Ranch Resort. The upcoming River Country Water Park they’re opening in 2025 sounds super fun, especially for families. Also kinda tempted by their glamping setup, we love camping but with a bit of luxury twist, you know? Seems like a great way to have a unique experience without running around too much. Definitely on my list for next year!

I just got back from an epic 9 month trip to Brazil then Thailand.

Can answer any questions on either of these countries.

Brazil-   beautiful country, dishonest people, girls are easy, food isnt that great

Thailand -  more peaceful and relaxed than Brazil, safer, incredible food, girls are quieter and more reserved

I’m planning to visit Santa Margherita Ligure since I’ve always wanted to check out the Italian Riviera and enjoy some proper Ligurian food by the sea. I like places where there’s a mix of chill local vibes and pretty scenery, and from everything I’ve heard, it’s a perfect base to explore Portofino and the trails nearby. Hoping to just relax by the waterfront, eat lots of seafood, and maybe join a passeggiata in the evening. You get both elegance and that authentic fishing village charm in Santa Margherita Ligure, making it a spot I’m pretty excited about.
