Today is Memorial day. This is a day to honor all who gave everything for you and our country. Go to a cemetery and say a prayer for a fallen shoulder.Take 1 minute and reflect on what all of these people and families sacrificed. This is not happy Memorial day. I saw friends KIA as well as my 30 year old godson KIA. Most people just do not get it. So if you sling back a beer remember it is for those who gave it all. If I get banned or boxed because of this post it will just show me that you could care less. Oh how many other veterans do we have on Covers? 

I'm a veteran. I always go to the VFW to attend a function for them.

Today's not a good day for me. It brings back too many awful memories & it pisses me off that we are so quick to send our men & women to war. 

We planted 7 more flags at the cemetery this morning than we did last year. The memory of the men & women who gave up their lives can never fade away.

I lost a Brother who was in the army.
