Denver +5.5???

Does this seem kind of steep to anyone else?  My local has the spread up already.  

O know the Panthers just rolled, but this line doesn't seem appropriate to me.

Thoughts?

I can see this getting up to 7, quickly, Panthers will be viewed as the team with 'blowout ability'.

Broncos defense is legit. Like lights out good. Peyton two weeks to rest, prepare, experienced. The Denver ML holds value in my eyes.

Where are you seeing 5.5?  I saw it opened at 3.5 and is up to 4.5 some places

He is talking about a local book... and the book is smart to shade it in that direction.  Running a local book is very regional.

Broncos beat the Pats.  Most people think that could not be done in the NE area.... so his clients will come in heavy on Denver

Thanks for not having me explain this Sports Fan.  My guy swings the spread with local teams (e.g. Yankees, Mets, Rangers, Devils, Isles, Jets, Giants etc).

I'm waiting for him to post the ML after everyone takes the Panthers.  I might take an Alt line spread if he offers it. 

Personally, I think the Broncos win SU.  This is a movie in the making.  Peyton plays in his last SB, wins and retires a legend.

Best of luck to everyone.  I just think it's kind of steep, but I'm not a "sharp" or a professional capper by any means.

Not bad at all Bluefin.  

I usually wager $20-$25 a game, but I think I'm going to break the bank on this one and go $50 on Denver ML.

I'm done with my $500 wagering days.  A mortgage will do that to you!

I got 5.5 and jumped on the money line for Denver +190. I figure that's worth the risk.

Broncos barely beat one dimensional Pats and got by injury riddled Steelers ,,,


The Manning Hype is going to get insane over the next 2 weeks ....


by game time i think this line is around a FG
