I eat bread at times roasting toast on
forked sticks, long after the marshmallows are gone.
the fire was from the night before with snowmobiles
It was started by an old tire to melt the crust it sank as dry dead pine limbs were chucked in pieces on the round,
the fire went high for a time and larger pieces were thrown over time.
five bags of marsh mellows buns hot dogs roasted by stick.
till the fires dance in the suits we wore felt the slumber come to the door.
the snowmobiles roared as we sat in wait. they came upon us sitting in the woods.
waiting we sent them assailing
wonder how John Adams would of thought of that one.
ahhh youth at times.
