Sports Psychologist View Regarding This Site…

Potential as a platform that allows engagement in discussions or providing objective information that potentially benefits sport wagering - 10/10

Sense of community, supporting each other, forming friendships is very healthy so please do not misunderstand what follows…

Majority of posts: “Team X for 2 units” without any explanation why, followed by numerous “good luck” posts. Again, pleased that you are forming connections and supporting one another but a complete waste of my time…10-15 minutes reading 20 “posts” without a shred of information that would benefit me to place a wager.

Resided in San Diego since 1979…Via local television, radio, etc, have a plethora of information about my favorite team (Padres) who I follow passionately…I know who’s hot, who’s cold, who’s injured, which teams we typically play well against, or don’t, which pitcher performs well at home vs road, recent acquisitions, etc…

Have no doubt responses to this, if any (who listens to a “prospect”) will be overwhelming NEGATIVE…I’m not trying to insult anyone’s intelligence, my intention is not to AGGRAVATE…I simply am trying to CONVINCE you my Brothers to provide OBJECTIVE information…if you live in Toronto or San Francisco or New York, etc, Tell me what the talk is on your local sports radio about your team that you watch all the time and know very well…I have access to weather reports, wind direction, public wagering info (% of wagers and totals).

For the record, I’m a former Navy Corpsman, former collegiate athlete who is in a relationship with a psychologist who once was a “sports” psychologist.

The damn dodgers are the one team that has our number… they got swept by ANA then swept us, then they went 2-2 to COL, so anything can happen, but this weekend series is a no bet for me!

Maybe that works in baseball, I don't know, but not in the NFL.

And being an athlete at the college level does not help in handicapping. So far you sound like a typical fan.

 So FYI, 95% of the posters here are degenerate addicts who consistently lose money and are only looking for their next fix.  As football season hits, it only gets worse.  As you'll hopefully soon learn, very few here are interested in actually handicapping a game or finding +EV spots.

Congratulations! 148 other people realized I inadvertently posted to the wrong forum…its ok, being picked last your whole life or riding the bench made you the FAULT FINDER you are today…

Sometimes I don't have time to write a thorough explanation why I like so and so team like I used to but rest assured I've done my research and have my own method.

 I 100 percent agree with you. I like to hear the reasoning of why someone might like that pick. I just seen someone post about the eagles playing their starters tonight so take the eagles. I called hm out. Total nonsense, But at least he gave his reasoning and maybe I saved him some money, or someone else lol.

OP spoke my sentiments from seeing this forum, the numerous threads stating their pick and units with zero explanation why, then the many beer mugs emogis and good luck. Every single day countless threads like that, feels like the twilight zone.

Instead of a consortium…a geographic distribution of like minds trying to make an informed decision (yes I have researched weather, a ton of stats, etc, only to have the ball bounce funny or a bunch of turnovers, that happens)…providing accurate vs misinformation…we get what you wrote. 

Yes, This is a NFL forum but use last nights PADRES/Dodgers game as an example of MY CONTRIBUTION: IF THE PADRES LEAD BY ONE RUN OR GREATER AFTER THE SIXTH INNING…BET!
