So my Beloved Mets have controversy between players and fans

Lindor and Baez giving the thumbs down to fans bc they're getting booed.

I remember in 1979 watching Mets on WOR and they were the worst team in baseball and i watched every game possible.

They had an over the hill Willie Montanez and Richie Hebner and Hebner was done at that point in his career.

He struck out and all 4000 fans in the stands booed his ass and you know what he did?

He gave the fans the finger with the Up Yours jesture. thought about that incident when i'm hearing about this situation now.

Do you folks have any fan/player interaction with the home town fans and players that stands out to you?

1st off i have to learn how to spell gesture

Mailce in the Palace will be hard to top.

However, i remember well at old Memorial Stadium in Baltimore in the mid 80's how fans would chant "Rochester" at some of the crappy players that were less than the storied players from their glory days.

Rochester being there triple A affiliate at the time.
