SCOTUS - Drug Sniffing Dogs Unconstitutional

5-4 is unbelievable. Nothing short of unanimous would be my expectation.

I see your point but you wouldn't believe how spoiled those dogs are, and well deserved. They absolutely love to do that work. 1-2 hour shifts max for any f/t scent dog and then it's just play time and relax.

The military dogs I have a little problem with sniffing out IED's. They take point everytime. Dog most of the time gets targeted either by grenade or sniper.

Some people in the drug business are very intelligent.  The ones that aren't get busted sooner, but you should be careful making generalized statements like that. 

Besides that... who's smarter?  The guy working a 9 to 5 job making $40K a year or the guy working for himself making 40K a month?  Granted, it's a risky business but the smart ones do it for a few years and get out of it.  Then you have the guys making 40K a week and some even more than that.  You can't be stupid making that much money.  I don't care what the profession is. 

The law will try to get away with anything if it can.  It's nice to see the constitution and the rights it provides were held intact in this case.  I of course don't have a problem with Cannabis dealers, but I do with meth dealers (that garbage is bad news).  Nonetheless, I would still agree with this decision if he was dealing meth or anything else.  The constitution was created for a reason and anytime I hear stories like this with the constitution being protected, it makes me happy.  

 The most astonishing thing that I have learned from this thread is that not only does Goose follow Fox News, he also references them to report important breaking political developments.
