Hey guys,

quick question.

How do you calculate the right ROI?

I started with 50$ on Pinnacle and I'm not at 350$.

Do I need to see my 50$ as initial investment or do I need to count every wager on a game, divided by my earnings? (350$)

Return On Investment is calculated by dividing the profit by the cost of the investment. The result is expressed as a percentage or a ratio.

Include all profits and include all investments.

=($350-$50)/$50

=600%

Slightly different way is to look only at incremental changes based on actual bets. Return on investment equals net profit divided by total wagers. Net profit is total gains minus losses.

Exactly why you want to track each additional wager.

You bet a 4-1 Dog and your overall ROI percentage increases.

You bet a 2-1 Chalk and your overall ROI percentage decreases.
