Ok I had a xbox360 3 yrs ago and my friend knocked it over and it wouldnt play discs anymore. I grew from video games and never sent it in to get it replaced.
If I go to like a Walmart and buy a new xbox360 take it home and switch just the systems and stickers etc. Then go back can I say someone got it for my brother for xmas and return it for my cash as long as I have reciept or do you think they will look at like codes and stuff
My Aunt does all kinds of shit like this. What a lowlife she is. If her coffee-maker breaks or something she goes out and buys whatever model it is she wants [if it would fit in the box obviously].
She puts her old one in the box and returns it. Macy's never opens the box so she says and she simply returns her old one and receives her money back [if you paid with cash you get cash back policy].
She spends no money and upgrades from a broken coffeemaker to the new model. Disgusting. She says she returns it on black friday or other days [like a 1day sale] when they are swamped and she goes after young guys as opposed to older women that have been there for years and years. Smart but dirty.
Shes never afraid to ask to speak to the manager, and abuses the customer is always right policy. She saves every receipt. Even if someone says "M'aam, are you returning a used coffeemaker," or "hey, this isnt even the same model" she'll just hit them with a "This is how I opened the box..are you calling me a liar"? They have no way of proving that she did the swap so what can they do? Nothing. Its a nice scam but also a very dirty one. If they re-stock the item some unsuspecting person is gonna open up a used _________. One time she took back a food processor and never even cleaned it after using it. Bad karma.
