Obviousy there's a reason for this much coverage. The man was just that big, regardless to if people wanna believe it or not. I guess we should honor our last president of the USA. He really made a fuckin difference in this world. MJ has done more for this country than anyone will ever know. All the haters and biggots focus on someting that he was never convicted of. Yeah He paid 22 mil, but no one ever puts any emphasis on the family that supposedly had a child molested and say it's okay Mike if you give us money. Debra Rowe accepted a payment as well, and how credible has she turned out to be?

Believe me if I thought my child got molested I would not give a fuck about ANYTHING but justice, but honestly I'd probably kill a motherfucker.

Which is why I dont believe it. Who would accept payments as hush money for their child being molested?  No one i've ever met, seen, heard of. The haters will believe what they want. Just like Kobe raped a woman . Haterade is flying off the shelves.

Your entire rant may honestly be the most ignorant, uneducated, naive thing I have ever read on this site, and thats saying A LOT.

You really don't understand how our legal system works.  This wasn't hush money!!  Here's when and how a settlement works.  A party to a lawsuit is advised by their counsel.  There are a million situations and scenarios that present themselves.  If youre the plaintiff, and your lawyer tells you "look, if you proceed with this case, and take this to a jury, the way the facts are and the law is written, youre looking at a 25% chance the jury awards you 30 mil, and a 75% chance this guy walks.  When that happens, you walk away with nothing at all, no guilty verdict, no money, and you can never sue again." This is how a settlement happens.  Its not fucking hush money.  It's the process, and a party making the best possible decision based on the circumstances.

Large companies do this every day.  To fight off a sizeable lawsuit they would spend 12 mil. They could settle for 11 mil that day and make the final settlement agreement private, as well as admit NO FAULT.  They settle for 11 and cut a check and walk away.

    You don't understand the system.

This is how a settlement happens.

Hey Chewey, would you have posted if this would have been a Dem.?  If so, would you have said the same thing minus the Palin jab or would you have stuck up for him?  Besides that, how did this become R vs.D in the first place?  Try to keep the R vs. D slap and tickle fights in the political forum.

I don't think I'd spend that kind of money if I knew I was innocent and could prove it.  That's just me though.

I'm a law prospect and if there was a 75% chance that he was going to walk, than there definitely wasn't a preponderance on evidence to support the molestation?

I'm am not on either side I support Michael Jackson as a entertainer, no one is perfect and if people are only going to admire a perfect person there would be no icons or role models.

If I knew 100% my son was molested I would take that 25% chance. Only someone  who was out to make a buck would take the money.

I don't understand why you are getting so testy over this.  Let's agree on this.  Someone out to make a buck would take the money and someone who couldn't prove thier innocence would pay the money.

By the way the post that Degenerate made was a SCENARIO, not the actual MJ child molestation case.

Or somebody that doesn't wanna be drug through a long drawn out trial would pay as well. Remember Mike was a giver, and giving th 22 mil probaby didn't affect him the way it would the average person put in his sitation.

My point exactly, no one knows, because all they wanna report is what he has alledgedly done.  What about reporting what he has done.Like  being in the world record book for supporting the most charities by a pop star isn't a contrbution to society, and unlike most successful people he wasn't doing it for  tax write off. Mike was hands on with his charities. For you not to think this man hasn't contributed, you must be the most IGNORANT person on covers and that's saying alot.

If money wasnt an object to me Id pay 20million so I wouldnt have to go through years or trials, testimonies, etc. etc. Probably would of cost me 20million in legal fees anyway.

His giving to charities was great, but Samuel says that he gave hush money and I don't consider that being a "giver."

And isn't the purpose to go to court to seek justice. Since when is money the reason you take a case to court if your child is innocent. Oh you might not win (because lack of evidence) but 22 mil should make you feel good about Mike Molesting your son. Get the fuck outta here with your BS.

If he really molested that kid and the parents accepted the payment, then yes, thats considered hush money.

Obviously he didnt molest anyone and just paid the 20 million to get on with his life and not have to spend years in courthouses due to money hungry parents. If I spent millions like hundreds I would pay the 20million also. Especially when the legal fees over the years would be in the millions itself.

And even the mother of the child even said she doesn't believe Mike molested her child, and immediately they went to discredit her. But you don't her about that.

At the end of the day either the parents or MJ were morally terrible human beings, we'll never know who was right or wrong.
