Rio games are in serious jeopardy

sewage , corruption, and osquito linked diseases are brokering for poor revenue expectations.https://finance.yahoo.com/news/rio-olympics-mess-7-months-183443794.html;_ylt=AwrC0CYox7ZWi0IA41WTmYlQ;_ylu=X3oDMTEzcWxwMGMzBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwM5BHZ0aWQDVklEUFJEXzEEc2VjA3Nj

Past Olympic games rarely lack problems.  But once the games begin, problems tend to be overshadowed by celebrations and optimism.

Not too worried.  The Olympics are hosted in only one Brazilian city whereas Brazil hosted the FIFA World Cup at venues all over the country.

Media is blowing this up but ultimately everything will work out ok.

Haven't watched the Olympics since I was a kid... No longer interested in the corruption from top to bottom here too. I have sympathy and respect for the athletes that put their hearts and souls into their sport. I have no intention of supporting the corporate world that has ruined the games with corporate b.s. and the money grab.

Welcome to another country that lefties run -  Brazil. Looks like a great country to host "the games". It surprises me how the "lefties" spout about the environment with every breath but Brazil is polluted from top to bottom...
