nyc got a threat at 5am but decided not to cancel. lol

Cortines folded way too early. Let the FBI handle the threat and finish the email investigation. .. Wouldn't believe how upset and frightened parents are around these parts.

They will now have to deal with this on a daily basis because they botched it

Los Angeles and New York received similar threats. But Los Angeles overreacted while New York recognized the hoax. FBI should have been contacted for confirmation early. No big loss though because school year can be easily extended in 2016. Since 9/11, U.S. has been paranoid.
