I always wondered at what point does somebody tell a player that he is done being an athelete and is now an actor....
I think its possible there is some shady reffing and times and that could be an issue but I just dont see the players being involved......

All we need to know is that in a court of law the NFL stated that they are an entertainment corporation and have the ability to fix outcomes as they see fit because they are exempt.
