My bookie is stiffing me for thousands of dollars

The guy used to be a post up person. We used him because he allowed instant cashouts through paypal/zelle. He always paid immediately.

Then recently he started doing credit accounts. I set a few friends up with him. They won about 5600 the first week.

He is not paying us and making an excuse saying the way he always does it is he settles all credit accounts after the super bowl etc.

Its a load of crap as I have it in writing we settle everything up on Mondays.

I dont know what to do at this point, Im starting to think he might have just gone broke or something and cant pay.

Dont really know what to do or what can be done. He lives in Brazil.

The last sentence says it all.

You have no other recourse, simply lower your volume & bet size, until after the #SuperBowl.

This is the culture of unregulated gambling, as if its a 'right of passage', 'badge of honor'.

wait it out & see if he's a man of his word.  #DoubtIt

You're gambling on more then pointpreads and over/unders.You've only got 3 more games to the season and if you've ever been paid by your man in Saint Paulo you're ahead of the game.Bet like any money he owes you is found $.

Call the boys from Brazil.

Update

He has sent 3 different payments of 500. Still owes about 3500.

go find him

ha, ha, yeah really, put all his 'suppossed winnings' in travel expense for one punch

That is more then I expected and better then nothing.

Give him the old "Brazillian Wax"

Two options:

This is my fear as well.  The fear of not being able to cash out. Can anyone recommend a good online bookie?

time to break out the baseball bats and have a few knocks at his front door

Columbian Necktie...

He ended up paying in full.
