Mayweather is only -750 on Bovada. If this fight becomes official I think I might have to throw down $1500 to win $200, or at least parlay Mayweather with everything I bet on.

if they went toe for toe, mayweather would KO mcgregor in 30 seconds but as this will be for show and done purely to line their wallets, I could see mayweather taking a dive, we know he likes a bet and he&#x27;ll know what price his opponent would be, there would be the inevitable media hype, an obvious rematch and probably another one because it would have to be best of 3.

Are you out of your mind?He would NEVER take a dive here with one of the biggest purses of all time and with all Conor has said. They will be BOXING. To lose a BOXING match, never mind lose a PERFECT RECORD for a career to an MMA fighter? You will go to your grave having that said to you for the rest of your life.

are u out of your mind?the only reason he&#x27;s agreeing to this fight is money.there&#x27;s no title at stake, , this is purely an exhibition match, if he wins in 2 rounds, its a non event, if he loses, think of the hype created, he can then pummel macgregor and make 2 more massive PPV fights, this guy craves money more than anything else, its his nickname after all. I&#x27;m quite happy to "go to my grave" saying this. someone needs a reality check.

This fight will NEVER happen! It&#x27;s all a publicity stunt to stay relevant. However if it does the 12th round should be mma rules. Make Floyd go on the attack before the 12th and if Conor can withstand May, they change gloves and go one round mma style. This match will never happen. Period.

So you think one of the richest and most famous boxers to ever live would take a dive for hype to get more money and two more matches (that easily may never come to fruition) and ruin one of the greatest perfect boxing records of all time?Simply stated....no.Just drop it. it&#x27;s not a "fight" unless the rules are adjusted to equalize each man&#x27;s abilities.If it were pure boxing, McGregor has no chance;just as if it were pure MMA, Mayweather would have no chance.Hell, the weight difference of the gloves between boxing/mma is a killer right off.If McGregor is forced to wear boxing gloves, his hand speed will be negated.This "bout" is nothing more than a circus stunt for the idiot public. McGregor made a brilliant BUSINESS move ($100 million guaranteed) that&#x27;s all. The bout will be a bust.

It is boxing rules. Floyd is worlds better than Conor as a boxer and the only reason it&#x27;s 1100 ansld not 11000 as Scal eluded to is because of the puncher&#x27;s chance. Should be fun and interesting. I expect it to be, at very least, better than Floyd/Pacq.

A few things:1) Connor will be much bigger than Floyd at fight time.2) Floyd is not capable of knocking McGregor out. Watch the McGregor/Diaz II fight. Connor is not getting knocked out by a technical fighter.3) The money at stake is a huge factor. If Floyd dumps, or there is a draw, then fight number 2 will be in Ireland, in a soccer stadium, and gross a billion in world wide PPV. Have to factor in the cash angle here.....4) McGregor&#x27;s left is a monster. He can put anyone to sleep, even if there are pillows on his hands.5) I contend that 12 3 minute boxing rounds is less of a cardio drain than 5 5min UFC rounds. Without the constant grappling, McGregor will breeze 12 rounds.6) Floyd is a student of the game. His fight prep and study is second to none. For this fight, he will have nothing to study...just UFC film...which will be useless in a boxing match. McGregor will be creating unique angles with his punches.....Floyd will have to adjust on the fly.7) Floyd will take his preparation seriously. The guy is a champion&#x27;s champion. But, he is 40. McGregor is 28. In combat sports, no one gets out unscathed.....if Floyd gets knocked..at age 40....it is curtains.Add it all up.......there is no way to justify betting the mortgage, and that is what many a gambler will do in this spot, on Mayweather -1000. I can make a case to grab McGregor or at least examine some of the props that will be available...but to sink the farm on an obvious "sure thing" seems like a suckers bet.But, to each his own.

so mayweather is 1/6 to win this or -6000 in american  odds, it should be 1/66, the Oirish one has of course never fought a competitive round of boxing in his life, those odds suggest something funny could definitely happen.....
