this is the obligatory link to the statistics of which states (hint: the red ones) are mostly "sponging off the system" that i have to post in response to comments like these.

I'm not sure what this day is all about, but I'm sure there's a substantial less amount of complaining for most of us fellas.
I'm sure the whiny Liberal males will have no problem filling the void as most of these snowflakes complain more than your average apolitical woman.

He was reaching on this point. The chart illustrates that most blue states tax the sh!t out of their citizens and are less reliant on federal funding. These same blue states have some of the highest deficits in the country; NJ, NY and CA in particular.

You nailed that one on the head! I live in California and it's comical that every year when I prepare my taxes, the check I get back from the Federal is almost always equal to what I wind up owing to the State.....
Now you know why so many large businesses and corporations, movie production companies, etc. are leaving (or have left) California for like, Texas. So, you can take your "obligatory link" and stick it.....

gimme, there's a reason it's expensive to live in a state like california. just don't f*ck it up and pay those taxes and wind up in some redneck area like fresno. but if you want to live in a cheap state that gets all of that money back from the federal goverment and doesn't contribute much, plenty of those red states in the southeast. but again, there's a reason why it's much cheaper to live there.
